The group will meet on a quarterly basis, with the goal of conducting research and carrying out initiatives that will help mitigate the fentanyl crisis.

Newhouse said that his bill would continue supporting fish populations, stating that they are finding creative solutions to ensure fish species thrive while keeping the dams.

The U-S representative says the Chinese Communist Party is a threat to American democracy and that the U-S must respond with tough farmland and food supply policies.

“It maybe wasn’t the prettiest thing to watch on C-SPAN, but it actually was a positive, healthy thing for Congress to go through,” Newhouse said.

Grizzly bears currently sit on the endangered species list due to humans over-hunting the bear population to near extinction.

In regards to the events on Jan. 6, Newhouse said that that wasn’t going to affect how he votes on policies in the near future.

Newhouse’s vote came as a surprise due to him being one of the ten Republicans who voted to impeach Trump after the Jan. 6th insurrection.
