Deputies were called to a residence in Monitor at about 10:45pm Sunday where they say Leonardo Cervantes-Ramirez told them he was armed and wanted them to shoot him.
Road signs in Chelan County have been disappearing at an alarming rate over the past few weeks.
"Someone destroyed or took down about two dozen signs in the Monitor area," says the County's public information officer Jill FitzSimmons. "They've stolen stop signs, yield signs, and curve warning signs in very rural areas...
Authorities are also now including those who have been convicted of kidnapping. 12 people convicted of that crime are now being monitored by authorities in Yakima.
