Sheriff Notifies WSDOT On Plans For Camp

(Spokane, WA)  --  Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich has notified WSDOT that he plans to clear the massive homeless encampment Camp Hope along I-90 near Freya.  Around 600 people are in the camp.  Knezovich says the problem with crime in the surrounding area is unacceptable.  He says WSDOT has done nothing to solve the problem.  Knezovich also says he plans to investigate fraud in funding that has gone toward supporting the camp and other homeless camps in the area.  He's asking the FBI to join in the investigation.
