Tacoma Woman Kicks Down Door Then Leads Deputies on Chase Across Two Counties
A Tacoma woman is behind bars after Police say she broke down a man's door and led law enforcement on high-speed pursuit.
The Woman Said She Was Looking for a 16-Year-Old Missing Girl
On Sunday, July 5th, just befor 9 pm, the woman showed up at a man's Port Orchard home. After the woman kicked the man's door down, he called Police for help. Upon arrival, Kitsap County Sheriff's Deputies did not find the missing teen at the home.

The Woman Drove Off in a White SUV and Deputies Spotted It a Short Time Later
Several Deputies responded to the pursuit which went from south Kitsap County into Pierce County. During the chase, a passenger was seen waving from the window. Spike strips were deployed and the SUV lost a tire. The woman continued driving until another Deputy used a PIT maneuver which spun the vehicle to a stop at an intersection.
The Driver Finally Exited the Vehicle With Her Hands Up
The 32-year-old Tacoma woman was booked into jail, facing multiple charges, including:
• Burglary
• Attempting to elude law enforcement
• Reckless drving
• Driving with a revoked license as a habitual traffic offender
The teen the woman claimed she was searching for was in the vehicle the entire time with the other passenger. No one was injured.
